Cassandra loves her work in NAB Assist.
Name: Matt O'Dea
Your role: Head of Agribusiness, South Australia & Western Australia
Region: Adelaide, South Australia and Perth, Western Australia
What’s your story?
I have been a Banker for over 25 years and have been fortunate enough to live or work in all States and Territories of Australia, with the exception of the ACT. I’ve spent most of my career in Regional Australia and I choose to still live regionally in the beautiful Clare Valley in South Australia.
How have you made a difference?
No matter where I have I lived, I have always tried to give something back to the local community. It is critical in regional areas to give back to the local towns that support NAB. NAB has a very strong and proud history in regional Australia and I am proud to be a part of that and continue to advocate for living and working in regional areas. I love Australian agriculture and being part of the team that lends more money to Australian Farmers than any other bank is truly an honour.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about everything to do with people, regional Australia and Australian agriculture. I’d love to see more people experience the benefits of living and working in regional areas and I’d also love to see more education and focus on mental health issues for regional Australia.
