Why we’re closing your card
Velocity NAB Business American Express cards will be closed on 30 September 2017. After this date, these cards will no longer be usable.
We stopped selling the Velocity NAB Business American Express Card in August 2014 and we’ve now made the decision to close these cards.
We sent you information by Direct Mail on 14 July 2017 and a reminder letter sent 28 July 2017 which outlined your options.

Your outstanding balances
If there are any pending transactions as at 30 September 2017, they’ll be processed to the Velocity NAB Business American Express Card. You’ll still need to pay the account in full including all amounts owing, interest, fees, and charges on the card.
We’ll continue to send you regular statements until the card is paid off in full.
How to make payments after 30 September 2017
You can only make payments using BPAY® or at a NAB Branch after the 30 September 2017.
Recurring payments and direct debits
You’ll need to contact any merchants and service providers with whom you have direct debit or recurring payment arrangements and change your card details before 30 September to ensure your payments are processed.
You can identify any direct debits/recurring payments by simply checking your monthly statements or one of our call a specialist bankers on 13 37 68 if you need help.
If you have created any payments to or from your Velocity NAB Business American Express Card in NAB Internet Banking or NAB Connect, you’ll need to change the ‘To’ or ‘From’ account.
Velocity Rewards Points
All Velocity points earned on your card up to 30 September 2017 or when the card is closed, will be credited to your Velocity Frequent Flyer account. This may take up to 30 business days from 30 September 2017 to complete.
Viewing transactions online
Once the Velocity NAB Business American Express Card is closed, you’ll no longer be able to view any account transactions in NAB Internet Banking or NAB Connect.
You’ll receive a final statement for your Velocity NAB Business American Express Card account once the account has been paid in full.
If you have previously registered for online statements in NAB Internet Banking, any online statements for your Velocity NAB Business American Express Card will remain available in Internet Banking, under ‘Closed or Hidden’ account section.
If you use NAB Connect you have up to 99 days to access your Velocity NAB Business American Express card account statements. We recommend you store or print any previous statements you’ll need.
