Eligibility criteria

Please ensure you meet all the following eligibility criteria:

  • You have an active ABN.

  • You're the business owner or director of an Australian private company, or an office holder for a not-for-profit, community club or community organisation.

  • You've not had a merchant facility terminated by an Australian financial institution with the last 12 months.

Terms and Conditions

The once-off $250 cashback offer ended on 30 September 2025 and is subject to the following conditions.

  • To be eligible for the offer, you must:
    • have applied for a NAB EFTPOS Merchant Facility between Monday 2 June 2025, 12.00am - Tuesday 30 September 2025, 11.59pm (Promotion Period); and
    • processed at least one transaction by Friday 31 October, 11.59pm and hold and settle to a NAB Business Transaction Account with NAB.
    • be a new NAB EFTPOS (Standalone and Integrated) merchant customer. Existing merchant customer(s) are ineligible.
  • If the above eligibility criteria are not met, you will not be entitled to receive the once-off $250 cashback.
  • If the above criteria have been met, cashback will be paid within 60 days of settling to your NAB Business Transaction Account. Payment will be made into your NAB Business Transaction Settlement Account.
  • For clarity, you will only be eligible for one (1) cashback of $250 during the Promotion Period. You will not be entitled to multiple cashbacks even if you were to sign up multiple NAB EFTPOS facilities.

You will cease to be eligible for the Offer if you close your new NAB EFTPOS Merchant Facility or NAB Business Transaction Account prior to processing and payment of the $250 cashback.

The Offer is limited to one per NAB merchant customer (including any related entities).

‘related entity’ (as defined in section 9 of the Australian Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) means, if you are applying as a(an):

  • partner in a partnership, then all partners in that partnership;
  • non-individual entity (such as a company or incorporated association), then any directors or shareholders or office bearers of that non individual entity;
  • individual, then any other non-individual entities which are affiliated with you, either through common ownership or shareholding and includes holding companies and subsidiaries; or
  • trustee of a trust, then any other trustees or beneficiaries of that trust.

The following exclusions apply:

  • Existing NAB EFTPOS merchant customers are ineligible.
  • Invalid NAB EFTPOS transactions (see section 10 of the Merchant Agreement) and transactions that are refunded (charged-back) cannot be included.
  • NAB EFTPOS Customers who do not settle into NAB Business Transaction Settlement Account (between Monday 2 June 2025, 12.00am – Friday 31 October 2025, 11.59pm) are ineligible.
  • Multi-merchant product, NAB Easy Tap and eCommerce products are ineligible.
  • Discretionarily priced merchants and Group negotiated deals.

NAB reserves the right to vary the terms of, or withdraw, this offer at any time at its absolute discretion.
