WOMAN: Had a little catering business which was sort of my first little venture, which I loved doing. Then I really wanted a business that I could incorporate my love for music festivals. Obviously, the food trucks are like a big part of the music festivals. My name is Amy and I own and operate Trailer Made. So I've been operating for almost two years. I'm a mobile food business, so I move around Melbourne, I do all sorts of different events from markets, festivals, a bit of street trading every now and again. I do some private gigs as well. So, basically just get on the road and set up shop and sell food to people. The type of food I make in the trailer is very Middle Eastern influenced. So just using sort of the fresh herbs and spices from those countries, has been my main influence. And also just producing, like, really fresh quality food. Each day is different, each week is different. The day would start with going to the markets to pick up my goods, going to my Brunswick wholesalers to pick up ingredients, printing menus for the weekend, responding to inquiries, I get a lot of inquiries for private events. Social media is a huge part of the day. Packing the trailer ready for service. And then rolling out, I suppose, and trying to get to the location on time. Using the NAB Now device really allows me to serve each customer wherever I am. So, you know, we go to some events and there's no ATMs basically. And people come unprepared with no cash, but I can still look after them. It's beneficial for the customers, yes, they don't go hungry, and I can look after them. So it sort of works for both of us. I think the moment when I realised my business was a success is receiving phone calls and emails from people saying that they've heard about the trailer, they love the look of it, they love the type of food that I make. I absolutely love the type of business I operate. Yeah, I've never looked back.
