- Our Express Business Deposit process is changing. We're replacing our current manual paper-based deposit slip and taking it online. Accessible via nab.com.au, you will simply submit your deposit details online before dropping your EBD bags off at the branch. Our new, simple and easy to use online deposit slip does all the heavy lifting for you. It will help minimise the discrepancies caused by basic human errors, such as incorrect deposit details and inaccurate calculations. Less time spent following up on unreconciled accounts and more time for you. You'll be able to deposit into your nominated accounts only, meaning heightened security and safety. You'll also be able to email and print your confirmation, making reconciliation a breeze. If you forget to complete an online deposit form before you drop your bags off at the branch, we'll be in contact to tell you that you need to do so before it can be processed. To deposit your cash, put it into our new, simplified cash-only bag. That's right, no cheques or money orders can go in the bag. You can use the express check deposits envelope for this instead, which are available in branch. There's a new $500 minimum on deposits. You can deposit smaller amounts at Smart ATMs, coin machines and over the counter at any Australia Post or NAB branch. By consolidating your Express Business Deposits, we'll be able to reduce the number of plastic bags used, minimising our plastic consumption. This minimum limit won't apply to coin only deposits. The drop-off process that you're used to is remaining the same. Simply drop the EBD bag off at your local NAB branch. Cash will be credited to your account faster. You'll see it in your account as soon as it's scanned by our bankers, instead of overnight. See, easy. We are currently developing the new online deposit form and anticipate customers can start using it from the end of Q1, 2022. We'll keep you updated every step of the way. So what's next? One, you will receive a letter outlining these changes within the NAB business product terms and conditions. Two, on 1st of October, 2021, these terms and conditions will take effect. You should continue to use your current supply of bags until the new bags are made available for you to order. Three, we will send you a letter advising when you can start ordering new EBD bags. and when the new online deposit form is ready for you to use. We're reaching out to you now to provide as much information about these changes, so you have time to get prepared. Visit nab.com.au/ebdchanges for FAQs and further updates. - NAB, More than money.
