The key objectives of our remuneration framework are to:
- Attract, recognise, motivate and retain employees;

- align the interests of employees and shareholders through equity ownership.
NAB’s remuneration framework supports our strategy and complements the Performance Unit framework.
We expect all employees to have scorecards developed with their People Leader, aligned to their Performance Unit objectives and monitored through regular performance conversations.

Both ‘what is achieved’ (via scorecard performance) and ‘how it is achieved’ (via Our Values assessment) are equally important and together form the annual performance rating which ensures incentive outcomes are appropriately linked to performance.
