Be part of the new wave of early adopters

We’re empowering our Merchants by giving them early access to the latest technology upgrades.

In 2015 NAB (and other financial institutions) will be introducing new EFTPOS cards, to make purchasing goods even more convenient and secure. These cards will be embedded with chips and feature progressive contactless technology.

We’ll be preparing our early adopters for the advancements with terminal updates soon. The new software will allow participating Merchants to accept swipe, contact (chip) and contactless transactions. And those who regularly accept UnionPay cards will be able to accept contactless payments too.

We’re leading the way

Staying ahead of the game is really important to us. We want our customers to feel prepared for changing technology, and our Merchants to feel empowered by the latest advancements. So we’re looking for the next wave of early adopters – Merchants who are eager to get on board with major terminal updates, ahead of the rest.

Don’t be left behind

Only NAB Merchants with VeriFone and Quest terminals will be able to receive the update

If you have a Sagem terminal, it’s a great time to upgrade. Apart from the new software updates, these terminals also offer plenty of other features that will make card payments easier for you and your customers. Get in touch with your NAB Business Banker or email us at Merchant.service.centre@nab.com.au with your Terminal ID, Merchant Name and Merchant Number to upgrade your terminal. See our Frequently Asked Questions for terminal upgrades.

Become an early adopter

The software updates will start in October 2015 – which means you will be one of the first to be able to offer the new features. We’ll be looking for our Pilot Merchants in October, so let your Business Banker know if you’re interested in becoming an early adopter.
