Every time you use your credit card you could earn rewards points to access a variety of benefits and bonuses. NAB offers a range of reward credit cards but before deciding which one is right for you, it’s important to know how you can use your credit card to earn and spend rewards points.

The reward programs we offer

If you’re looking for a credit card that comes with reward points, we offer Qantas Reward credit cards and NAB Rewards credit cards. 

NAB Rewards Points

With your NAB Rewards Credit Card, points are uncapped, so there is no limit on the amount of points you can earn each month.  Once your account is open and you use your card, you can start earning points straight away.

  • If you’ve got a bonus point offer, your bonus points will be credited within 3 months of meeting your spend criteria.

Our NAB Rewards program has a wide range of rewards to choose from. There are also options to earn double and triple points at selected retailers.

Qantas Points

You can earn Qantas Points on your everyday purchases and 1 Bonus Point for every dollar on eligible Qantas services using your Visa Card. Some transactions, such as cash advances and gambling transactions, will be excluded from earning points.

  • If you’ve signed up for a bonus point offer, bonus Qantas Points will be credited within 3 months of meeting your spend criteria.

Your Qantas Points won't expire as long as you earn or use Qantas Points through your Frequent Flyer account at least once every 18 months. You can redeem your Qantas Points online by logging into your Qantas Frequent Flyer account, opens in new window.

Qantas membership

If you’re an existing Qantas Frequent Flyer member, you can include your membership number in your application. Then we can link your card to your rewards membership before your card arrives.

  • You can find your membership number on a recent statement from Qantas or on your Qantas card.

If you’re not already a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, you can join for free, opens in new window.   We’ll send you reminders on your monthly statement, via text and letter if you don’t link your membership to your card.

Managing and redeeming your rewards points

Each rewards program lets you manage and redeem your points online. You can check your balance and redeem your points at the website or portal of your rewards program.

NAB Rewards program

You can redeem your NAB Rewards points using NAB Internet Banking, the NAB app or NAB Connect (for business cards) which takes you to the NAB Rewards Store, opens in new window.

NAB Internet Banking and the NAB app

  1. Log into NAB Internet Banking or the NAB app and go to Cards.

  2. Select your NAB Rewards card and you'll be able to see your points.

  3. Select Redeem points and you'll be taken to the NAB Rewards Store.

NAB Connect

  1. Ensure you have assigned NAB Rewards access (PDF, 424KB), opens in new window to a user.

  2. Login and select Accounts in the top menu area.

  3. Select NAB Rewards in the menu drop down list.

  4. Select the Redeem button to be taken to the NAB Rewards Store.
