How BeemTM works

  • You can use any of the below NAB Visa debit cards:

    • NAB Visa Debit Card
    • NAB Platinum Visa Debit Card
    • NAB Business Visa Debit Card

Ensure that the setup of your transaction account links to the savings option of your debit card (this is where your received payments will be credited). You can register either a personal or a business debit card, provided the above requirements are met.

You can also use any other Australian bank issued Visa or Mastercard debit card. You can add up to five debit cards, including multiple eligible NAB Visa debit cards.

You must add a debit card to make or receive BeemTM payments. You can use a credit card for some other features in the app, like BeemTM Rewards and purchasing gift cards.

  • When you pay someone else, the amount will show as ‘pending’ until the next business day, when the money has been taken from your account to make a payment.

When receiving money it will appear in your bank account under the description ‘Beem’ or ‘Beem It’.

  • Both the person who makes the payment and the person who receives that payment will receive a notification within the BeemTM app. Both the sender and receiver of the payment will see the transaction reflected in their transaction history.

Make sure you have notifications switched on through your phone’s settings.

  • If you accidently pay the wrong person, contact them and ask them to send the payment back to you. You can send them a Request on BeemTM to receive the money back. If this doesn’t work, contact support@beem.com.au for more information.

  • Visit the BeemTM website, opens in new window for more information or contact support@beem.com.au.
