Switching to another NAB credit card

If you want to change from one NAB credit card to another, we can help you. Contact us:

  • by phone on 13 22 65 from 7am-9pm Mon-Fri or 8am-6pm on weekends (AEST/AEDT)
  • in person at any NAB branch.

You can view all our cards on the credit card comparison table.

If you change your card, you'll receive a new credit card number and a new PIN.

Adding or removing additional cardholders

There's no charge for adding an additional cardholder to any NAB credit card.

An additional cardholder gets a separate card that they can use to access your credit card account, and any other accounts that you have linked to it. They'll also be able to see all of your credit card account activity (for example, they'll have access to the account in NAB Internet Banking).

The additional cardholder must be at least 16 years old. As the primary cardholder, you are responsible for all use of the account, including transactions made by the additional cardholder.

To add another cardholder download and complete the Additional credit card request form (PDF, 454KB). You can return this to us:

  • in person at any NAB branch
  • by fax or post. Fax it to 1300 363 689, or post it to:

    Consumer and Commercial Cards
    Reply Paid 9992
    Melbourne VIC 8060

It can take around two weeks to add the additional cardholder to your account. We'll send the new card to the primary cardholder's address or nominated branch.

If the additional cardholder isn't a NAB customer we're required to check their identity before we issue the new card. Suitable ID includes their passport, birth certificate, driver's license, Medicare card, etc.

You can immediately remove an existing additional cardholder by contacting us:

  • by phone on 13 22 65 from 7am-9pm Mon-Fri or 8am-6pm on weekends (AEST/AEDT)
  • in person at any NAB branch.
