Express Business Deposits (EBD), Coin Deposit Machine (CDM), Express Cheque Deposits (ECD)

Charged for each deposit processed via Express Business Deposit (EBD) , Coin Deposit Machine (CDM) and Express Cheque (ECD) services or cheques written on an account, plus $3 for each cheque lodged for deposit via EBD/ECD.

Banker assisted transactions

Charged for each deposit or withdrawal processed by a banker over the counter at a NAB branch or at an Australia Post Office, plus $3 for each cheque lodged for deposit.

Getting started How to apply

Eligibility to apply online

  • You're 18 years or older.

  • You're a sole trader, a partner in a partnership, a director of an Australian private company or a trustee of a trust. 
    Please note, only directors of an Australian private company can apply.
    If you’re a private company, you’ll be asked to confirm the details of all directors, beneficial owners and trustees.

  • You are living in Australia and you are an Australian resident for tax purposes.

  • Your ABN or ACN is active, unless you are a sole trader with no ABN.

What to expect after you apply

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email with your application reference number.
  • If the account isn’t opened within 1–2 business days, we’ll contact you as we may need to verify information, such as your business details.
  • Once verification is complete, we’ll open your new business bank account.
  • Your account details will be emailed to your nominated email address.
  • If you’re a new business customer, your NAB Business ID will be sent via SMS. You can then register for NAB Internet Banking and access your new account via the NAB app.
