How to start

Using NAB Telephone Banking is easy. To begin using Telephone Banking, simply follow this step-by-step guide.

1. You need to be a NAB customer, with at least one suitable transaction account.

Suitable transaction accounts include: a NAB FlexiAccount, Classic Banking account, SmartDirect, SmartAccess, FlexiPlus Mortgage, credit card, home loan, personal loan, NAB Business Cheque Account, Business Management Account, etc.

2. You need your NAB ID.

Your NAB ID is located on the back of your credit card or debit card. If you don’t have one or you’re unable to locate it:

For personal customers, visit any NAB branch.

For business customers, contact your Business Banker or visit your closest NAB branch or business banking centre. You’ll need to complete an application form and may need to provide suitable identification such as photo ID and/or a utility bill.

3. You need to have the right equipment.

NAB Telephone Banking is available from any touch tone handset.

4. You need to have a Telephone Banking Password.

Give us a call on 13 22 65 from 8am-7pm Mon-Fri, or 9am-6pm on weekends (AEST/AEDT) . Our friendly staff will register you with a Telephone Banking Password and will answer any questions you may have. You can also visit our Features page for a guide to the service.
