  • Relevant borrowers, properties and home loan account number(s).

  • Authorised representatives for this discharge (e.g. your solicitor, broker, bank representative).

Account details

  • BSB and account number for any refund or excess funds to be paid.

  • BSB and account number of the NAB transaction account we can debit any fees or government charges.

What to prepare

  • Your property details.

  • Borrower or property owner details.

How to complete a mortgage discharge

There are three simple steps to follow before you can discharge your mortgage.

  • We need at least 10 business days to process a discharge form. There may be discharge fees and charges, which will vary depending on loan terms or the specifics of the mortgage.

1. Complete the form

It’s important to complete the form as you can’t save an incomplete form and return to complete it later.

2. Read and sign the document

Make sure you’ve read and understood your document. Once it’s signed by all borrowers, you’ve given us authority to discharge your mortgage. You can print the form and physically sign it, or you can sign the pdf document digitally on your devices with your e-signature.

3. Email the form

Email the completed and signed form to discharge.authority@nab.com.au. Allow at least 10 business days before your proposed settlement date.
