Simple eligibility check

No need to get a quote

Your cover is complimentary with eligible NAB cards, so no need to get quotes or apply.

Transit accident insurance policy help and claims

Transit accident insurance was discontinued on 1 November 2023 and is no longer available. But you can still receive help and support for claimable events that occurred before 1 November 2023:

  • Check policy coverage.

  • Check policy exclusions.

  • Make a claim.

  • Contact customer service for help with an event that occurred before 1 November 2023.

How to make a claim

If you’re making a claim on your International Travel Insurance the easiest way to claim is by using the online claims portal. For claims relating to any other type of cover (including Domestic Travel Insurance), please contact our team via email or phone.


For claims relating to international travel insurance only, you can submit an online claim.

AWP Australia Pty Ltd ABN 52 097 227 177 AFSL 245631, trading as Allianz Global Assistance (AGA), under a binder from the insurer, Allianz Australia Insurance Limited ABN 15 000 122 850 AFSL 234708 (Allianz), has issued an insurance group policy to National Australia Bank Limited ABN 12 004 044 937 AFSL and Australian credit licence 230686 (NAB) which allows eligible persons to claim under it as third-party beneficiaries. 

Access to the benefit of cover under the NAB card insurances is available to eligible NAB cardholders and other eligible third party beneficiaries by operation of s48 of the Insurance Contracts Act 1984 (Cth).
