Our Risk team is responsible for setting NAB’s risk appetite, providing a foundation for effective risk management and promoting a strong risk culture across NAB. Risk helps our people to do the right thing by our shareholders, customers and community to ensure our business is sustainable in the long-term.
This team is responsible for NAB Group's finance activities, investor relations, debt funding, interest rate risk management, capital management, global taxation, audit and economic research. The team also manages NAB’s liquidity, capital, funding and balance sheet management through Treasury. Our Finance team provides specialist advice and support to our businesses globally.
People and Culture
The People and Culture team are the custodians of the colleague experience. They work as key advisers across all areas of the bank and create value through investing in our people and building a strong, engaged culture. They deliver memorable colleague experiences and make it simple and easy for colleagues to do their jobs, build great careers and have a sense of fulfilment.
Strategy and Innovation
Our Strategy and Innovation team are critical to helping us achieve our ambitions. The team works across our business to shape the future of our organisation. With a clear plan and focus on action, they enable us to better serve our customers and communities.
Our Commercial Services team are trusted experts who provide strategic advice on a range of legal advisory and execution services, dispute and litigation resolution and customer complaint management in a changing regulatory environment.
NAB's Operating Office is responsible for our reputation, brand, product improvement and digital customer acquisition. It’s made up of UBank, Corporate Affairs and Marketing.
Our Enterprise Operations team brings together specialist support services that allow NAB to deliver exceptional customer service on a large scale. Enterprise Operations is focused on driving day to day performance excellence. The team includes Group Property, Strategic Sourcing and Lending Services (which includes our Valuations team, who work to help our customers make informed decisions about real estate).
Our International teams work with customers across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and the US. At the core of our capabilities are our specialist bankers who develop deep customer relationships between Australian and New Zealand businesses, and our global customers.
