Having accurate information helps us know who’s banking with us and protect our customers.
To identify you over the phone
Making sure we’ve got the right person on the phone is only possible if your details are correct.
To protect our communities
Knowing our customers are who they say they are helps us prevent fraud and identity theft.

Online banking How to confirm your details
The quickest and easiest way to confirm your details is online. If you haven’t registered for online banking yet, you can register using your NAB ID.
-
Log in to the NAB app or Internet Banking.
-
Select the Bell icon.
-
Under Notifications select Confirm Details.
-
Review your details and update them if anything’s changed.
-
Confirm everything’s up to date – and you’re done.
If you need to provide documents
You generally won't need to provide documents online unless your name or date of birth are incorrect (for example, if you changed your legal name). If you do need to change your name or date of birth, please provide either your Australian driver licence or your passport.
If we do ask you to send us documents, particularly about your organisation, you can email them to refresh.identityprotect@nab.com.au.
