Hello and welcome to all First Nations peoples, from all communities, Countries and Nations across Australia. Our First Nations Customer Support Line is available to all First Nations peoples.

Once your account is open, you’ll get:

  • A NAB Visa Debit card to shop and pay safely
  • No fees or extra charges

If you’re a First Nations person and you don’t have ID, we can help.

Other ID you can use:

  • First Nations Community ID Card
  • Referee Statement

Support from anywhere

If it’s hard to access your banking online or in branch, we can help.


Call us to:

  • Open a bank account
  • Check how much money you have
  • Reset your internet banking password
  • Learn how to use internet or phone banking
  • Report a lost or stolen card
  • Stop payments you don’t want
  • Prove who you are


You can also:

Referral assistance

We can help you to find services such as counselling and housing support. 

Financial assistance

If you’re worried about paying back things like a home loan or credit card, we can help. 
You can ask for:

  • A temporary break from payments
  • A plan to pay in smaller, easier amounts

How to get financial assistance:

No interest loans

If you have a low income we can help with no interest loans.

These loans can help pay things like:

  • Household items (like a fridge or washing machine)
  • Car repairs
  • Medical or dental costs
  • School expenses

Get someone to help you

  • Ask a community member, community organisation, a money support worker or an Elder for assistance if calling is hard. 
  • We can work with your financial counsellor.
  • We can set up a Letter of Authority or other types of authorities
