How to register for Internet Banking

  • Step 1 Select the get started button to begin. It should take less than five minutes.
  • Step 2 You’ll need to enter your NAB Identification Number, found on the back of your card, and your mobile phone handy to receive a security code.
  • Step 3 Set your password, activate features and choose how we communicate with you. 
  • Step 4 All done! We’ll send you an email to let you know that your internet banking is ready to use.

Mobile cheque deposits are available on eligible transaction accounts. Not available on certain personal and business accounts including savings, credit card and term deposit accounts. You may submit a total of $5,000 worth of Australian dollar cheques within any 7 day period. Third party cheques are not accepted. An internet connection is needed to access the NAB App and mobile cheque deposits.

Physical cheques must be kept in a safe place for 10 business days. Funds will usually clear and be in your account within three business days unless you submit a cheque after 10PM AEST or on a non-business day. Please read the full NAB Mobile Cheque Deposit terms and conditions.
