To apply online please ensure you meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. You are a sole trader, or a director of an Australian private company.

  2. You're living in Australia and an Australian resident for tax purposes.

  3. Your ABN or ACN is active, unless you are a sole trader with no ABN.

Security Identification


Applicants who are new to NAB, or don't have any active NAB accounts, will need to provide at least one of the following forms of ID:

  • Australian passport

  • Foreign passport

  • Australian driver’s licence

  • Medicare card

Existing NAB customers will need to identify themselves using their 8 -10 digit NAB ID. This is the number you use to log in to NAB Internet Banking. It's also on the back of your NAB card above the black strip. Existing NAB customers can still apply without their NAB ID, but will be required to provide ID.
