What is our virtual assistant?

Our virtual assistant is a chatbot designed to answer your general banking enquiries in real-time. It can answer questions about our products and give you self-service instructions to solve a number of your banking issues.

Where can I find the virtual assistant?

The virtual assistant is available on many of our web pages, including this page. It’s also available on NAB Internet Banking and the NAB app, where you’ll get instructions specific to those platforms on how to chat.

What if I need to chat to a person?

We understand that sometimes you just need human support to solve complex banking tasks, that’s why there’ll always be someone to talk to if our virtual assistant can’t help you.

To be transferred to a live chat banker:

  1. Type ‘Talk to a real person’ in the chat window.
  2. Follow the prompts.
