Things to know about repayments

  • If you have a loan with a variable rate, your repayments vary when the interest rate rises and falls.
  • You can find the minimum instalment amount that applies to your home loan under the Repayments section of your home loan of the NAB app or NAB Internet Banking.
  • If you’re struggling to meet your repayments or think you might miss a repayment, contact us immediately.

Steps to estimate your repayments

Follow these instructions to find your account details and use them to estimate changes to your home loan repayments.

The NAB app

Instructions for mobile devices

  1. Log into the NAB app.

  2. Select your home loan account.

  3. You should now see your current interest rate, scheduled balance, repayment type and loan end date.

  4. Scroll down to the Repayments section to see your minimum instalment amount.

  5. Choose New loan for a new NAB loan or Current loan for existing loans or custom interest rates.

  6. Fill in the required fields to display the most relevant interest rate.

  7. Confirm the preferred product.

  8. Use the plus or minus buttons to see how different interest rates affect your repayments.

  9. Choose an Initial offset balance and/or a regular Offset deposit frequency to see saving benefits.

  10. Choose a Frequency and Extra repayments amount to see changes to your interest and loan term.

  11. Tap Book an appointment for further assistance about NAB home loans.

NAB Internet Banking

Instructions for web browsers

  1. Log into NAB Internet Banking with your 8 to 10-digit NAB ID and password.

  2. Select the Accounts dropdown and tap Account details.

  3. Select your home loan account.

  4. You will now see your scheduled balance, loan end date, interest rate and minimum instalment amount.

  5. Choose New loan for a new NAB loan or Current loan for existing loans or custom interest rates.

  6. Fill in the required fields to display the most relevant interest rate.

  7. Confirm the preferred product.

  8. Use the plus or minus buttons to see how different interest rates affect your repayments.
