More about NAB Rewards credit cards

  • Being rewarded for your regular purchases, like groceries, petrol and bills. A NAB Rewards credit card allows you to benefit from earning points on most eligible everyday transactions, which can then be redeemed for a variety of flexible rewards ranging from gift cards, cashback and travel, including flights, accommodation and more. You have three years from the date you receive your points to use them.

When selecting a rewards card, you should consider whether the value of the points you can earn outweighs the cost of the card, such as the annual fee. Our NAB Rewards credit cards also include sign-up bonus point offers from time to time which can boost your points balance on a new card, provided you meet eligibility criteria.

  • By consistently using your NAB Rewards Card for everyday spending and prioritising categories with higher earn rates.

You can also earn points by using your NAB Rewards card to pay for bills, insurance and subscriptions – just keep in mind that some payments, like BPAY, government charges and ATO payments, aren’t eligible for points. For more information, read the NAB Rewards terms and conditions.

NAB Rewards vs Qantas Points

What’s the difference between NAB Rewards Points and Qantas Points?

NAB Rewards Points are earned on eligible NAB credit cards and offer flexibility. You can redeem them for gift cards, cashback, shopping, or transfer them to airline partners. Qantas Points are part of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and are mainly used for flights, upgrades and travel rewards with Qantas and partners.

Can you convert NAB Rewards Points to Qantas Points?

NAB Rewards lets you transfer points to selected travel partners such as Velocity, KrisFlyer, Cathay, Airpoints, Accor, but Qantas isn’t an option. If you want to earn Qantas Points, consider a NAB Qantas Rewards credit card.

Is NAB Rewards or Qantas Rewards better for travel?

NAB Rewards Points suit people who want flexibility, including the option to enjoy gift cards or cashback, shop in the NAB Rewards Store, and transfer to airline partners. Qantas Points are best for frequent flyers focused on flights and upgrades.
