Allianz has entered into a distribution arrangement with National Australia Bank Limited (ABN 12 004 044 937) (NAB). Under this arrangement, NAB is authorised to arrange for the issue of this insurance by Allianz as its agent, not yours. All other services provided by NAB in relation to this insurance are not provided on behalf of Allianz. This means, if you purchase NAB Car Insurance, and need to make a claim, Allianz are there for you – helping you get back on track again as soon as possible.
If your child was not listed on your policy and had an accident covered by your policy, you may have to pay an ‘Age excess’, in addition to the ’Basic Excess’.
No. Learner drivers are automatically covered provided the instructing driver meets the policy criteria as set out in your schedule and PDS.
To have a non-standard accessory covered under your car insurance policy you need to let Allianz know the details and value of the accessory. You need to do this for all non-standard accessories (those not fitted by the car manufacturer) to ensure you are covered in the event of a car insurance claim. Remember to also keep a record of your purchases.

1 You have the right to choose your own repairer. Allianz can also assist you in selecting a suitable repairer to repair the damage to your vehicle. Allianz may require a second quotation from a repairer chosen by Allianz. Allianz may choose to pay you the reasonable cost of repairing your vehicle.
2 Any online discounts offered are applied to our standard rates (excluding optional covers) and are for the first year’s premium only (if stated). From time to time, promotional or other discounts may be available for customers who apply for insurance via our Contact Centre. The online discount does not apply to Third Party Property Damage policies.
3 Safe Driver Discount applies to comprehensive NAB Car Insurance policies only. Any discount entitlement is determined by the insurance history and driving history of all drivers on the policy and the number of claims made by them. If eligible, the maximum Safe Driver Discount that may be applied on new policies is 10%.
4 Reduce your premium by listing your drivers. If you choose to reduce your premium by naming drivers on your policy, an unnamed driver will incur a $2,500 excess (this replaces the basic and all other excesses where applicable).
5 Minimum premiums may apply. Any discounts/entitlements may be subject to rounding and only apply to the extent any minimum premium is not reached. If you are eligible for more than one, each of them are applied in a predetermined order to the premium (excluding taxes and government charges) as reduced by any prior applied discounts/entitlements. Discounts may not be applied to the premium for optional covers.
