Terms and conditions (effective 24 November 2023)

NAB’s terms and conditions and protections that apply to your card, card details and contactless readers, and PayPal User Agreement, will also apply to the use of your card through a PayPal account.

Tips for keeping your mobile device screens locked and secure

  • Never store your device passcode on, or with, the device.
  • Don’t let anyone else register their biometric identifier (eg. fingerprint) to your device.
  • Don’t share your device screen lock passcode with anyone.
  • Choose a passcode that’s easy for you to remember and hard for others to guess.
  • Don’t use the same passcode as you do for your other banking devices or anything obvious like your date of birth.

Additional cardholders of personal cards

An additional cardholder can link their NAB card to their PayPal account via the NAB app even if the primary cardholder does not use PayPal.

The primary cardholder can remove the additional cardholder from the NAB account, which will block the additional cardholders card in their PayPal account . To remove the additional cardholder contact NAB on 13 22 65 from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 7:00pm (AEST/AEDT) and Saturday to Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm (AEST/AEDT) or +61 3 8641 9083 if you're overseas.

Device lost or stolen

If your mobile device (including mobile, laptop, and tablets) is lost or stolen, you can remove the card/s in your PayPal account or let us know immediately by calling NAB on 13 22 65 (personal) or 13 10 12 (business). Deleting your card from the PayPal account will still allow you to keep using your physical card.


We use your information in accordance with the NAB privacy policy.
