Things to know about depositing cheques with your phone

  • You can deposit up to $5,000 in cheques every seven days using your smartphone. If you need to deposit more than this, you’ll need to visit a branch.
  • Any of your transaction accounts are eligible for mobile cheque deposits.
  • If you deposit a cheque before 10pm (AEST/AEDT) on a business day, the cheque will usually clear within three business days from that time. Before the cheque has cleared however, you’ll be able to see a record of the transaction in your account history the next day.
  • After depositing the cheque, you must keep the physical cheque for 10 business days. We may request the physical check during this time.
