Interview and assessment

Congrats! You’ve been invited to an interview or assessment centre. Typically, this when you’ll meet your future people leader or colleague.

We hold our interviews mostly face-to-face, but occasionally over video conference too.

Depending on the role you are applying for you may also be invited to attend an assessment centre.

Your CV

Your CV is your first introduction to us.

  • Before you submit it make sure it’s to the role and job description.
  • Emphasise projects and past positions that directly relate to the role you are applying to.
  • Make sure you use clear and concise language.
  • Check for errors and pay attention to formatting.

The interview

Your interview is the next step on your journey to NAB and preparation is key.

  • Come prepared with any questions or queries that you might have for the hiring manager; this is your opportunity to learn more about the position.
  • It's also important to understand NABs values and how you may have demonstrated these values in the past.
  • If joining an interview virtually, it’s important to join from a comfortable and quiet space.
  • To ensure that everything runs smoothly, check your devices and setup before joining the call.
  • The most important thing to remember is to be authentic. We want to see your best customer obsessed self!
