Internships for university students

NAB aims to bring the best and brightest Indigenous university students into our business. We aim to provide the best paid internship program in corporate Australia.

Our internships are for university students of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. During the program you’ll gain insight into the banking and finance industry and be provided with mentoring to help you figure out what you want from your career and how to achieve it. We’ll help you develop your confidence and workplace skills and abilities, all the while getting exposure to a corporate environment.

At the end of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to apply and potentially receive an early offer for our graduate program the following year.

Graduate program

Our graduate program commences in February of each year. It is a rotational program designed to give you broad experience, introducing you to all aspects of life at one of Australia’s largest and most successful financial institutions. When you apply for the program, you’ll be asked to select a business area that relates to the discipline you’ve studied or an area you want to build your career in. During the program you will be doing real work in real roles, participate in continuous learning and development, get involved in enterprise-wide initiatives and gain exposure to senior leaders. Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll be supported to find a role to fast track your career in your chosen field.
