What are push notifications?
Push notifications are messages that are sent directly to your device as soon as the relevant event occurs, without you needing to open the NAB app.
How can I use push notifications?
Any primary account holder of a NAB Personal Credit Card can get push notifications using the NAB app on a mobile phone or tablet. They’re easy to set up and are a great way to stay on top of your spending. There are 2 different push notifications that you can choose from:
Approaching your Credit Limit
Choose an amount within your credit limit and when you reach it-you’ll be notified.1 If you pay down your card below this limit and then reach your chosen amount again, you’ll get another push notification
Exceeded your Credit Limit
Once this push notification has been selected, we’ll let you know when you’ve gone over your credit limit.1 If you pay down your card, you’ll get a new push notification if you exceed the limit again.
Setting up notifications
- Open the NAB app.
- Depending on your device, tap ‘More’ (…) or the three lines in the top left of the home screen.
- Tap ‘Profile’.
- Tap ‘Push notifications’.
- Select “Credit limit approaching’ or Credit limit exceeded’.
- Follow the prompts to complete set-up.
