How to earn NAB Rewards Points
You can earn points every time you use your NAB Rewards card on everyday purchases. And there’s no cap on how many points you can earn.
Remember to redeem your points within 36 months of earning them so you don’t miss out on what our NAB Rewards Store, opens in new window has to offer.
Rewards Points earn rates
This table shows you the earn rate for each NAB Rewards credit card.

Personal banking transactions that don’t earn points
Most everyday transactions on your NAB Rewards Platinum Card or NAB Rewards Signature Card earn points.
Transactions that don’t earn points include:
- cash advances
- bank charges and balance transfers
- buying foreign exchange or travellers cheques
- ATO payments
- transactions where the cardholder uses a card to access linked transaction accounts
- transactions for gambling or gaming purposes.

How to view and redeem your Rewards Points
Internet banking

Log into NAB Internet Banking and go to Cards.

Select your NAB Rewards card and you’ll be able to see your points. If you have a NAB Rewards business card, select your card then select the link on the left to check your points balance or redeem.

Select Redeem points and you’ll be taken to the NAB Rewards Store.
NAB app

Open the NAB app and go to Cards.

Select your NAB Rewards card and you’ll be able to see your points.

Select Redeem points and you’ll be taken to the NAB Rewards Store.
NAB Connect

Ensure you have assigned a user permission to view and access the NAB Rewards Store. View the NAB Connect Quick Reference Guide (PDF, 424KB), opens in new window.

Log into NAB Connect and select Accounts in the top menu area.

Select 'NAB Rewards' in the menu drop down list.

Select the Redeem button to be taken to the NAB Rewards Store.
NAB Rewards Points Booster
Earn points on your everyday transactions and there is no limit to the amount of points you can earn each month.
How does Points Booster work?
Double Points = Your card's standard point + 1 additional standard point (bonus points)
Use your card to shop in-store and online at your favourite major department stores and hardware stores. Choose from Myer, David Jones, Bunnings, Mitre 10 and many more.
Triple Points = Your card's standard point + 2 additional standard points (bonus points)
Overseas purchases
Purchases (in store and online) where the merchant, financial institution or entity processing the transaction is located outside Australia. International transaction fees continue to apply.

Purchases made online with Webjet via the NAB Rewards Store, opens in new window or on webjet.com.au.

Don’t have quite enough points for that trip or new phone? You can use Points Plus Pay to make purchases using a combination of points and any form of payment accepted by the Points Plus Pay provider. What’s more, if use your NAB Rewards card to pay the remainder, you’ll earn NAB Rewards points on that portion of the payment.
