Set account statements to Online Only

You could still be receiving paper statements for a few reasons:

  • If you have a joint account, the other account holder will need to set their statements to Online Only as well. Find out more about How Smart Statements work if I have a joint account.
  • It can take up to one statement cycle for the system to stop printing your statements.

If the email address you registered isn't valid, your statements will automatically switch back to paper. Find out more about What happens if you don't receive an email notification.

Setting your accounts to Online Only means that you'll get online access to all of your accounts, and stop receiving paper statements.

1. Login to NAB Internet Banking with your NAB Identification number (ID) and NAB Internet Banking password.

2. Open the Settings/Mailbox menu and select Statement Settings.

3. Select Online Only for each account.

4. Enter an email address that you'd like notifications sent to (so we can let you know when your statements are available).

5. Click Update.

You can do this from your laptop or your smartphone at nab.com.au (just make sure you use the desktop version, not the mobile one as you can't change the setting through the NAB app).

How to deactivate statements
