About the team
NAB Technology, Digital & AI brings together specialist teams across Engineering & Technology, Digital & Customer Platforms, Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Design. Together, we build and run the platforms that support more than 8.5 million customers across Australia and New Zealand — from everyday personal banking through to some of the country’s most complex business and institutional services.
Our teams design, develop and operate NAB’s core banking platforms, digital channels, data and AI capabilities, including the NAB app, internet banking, payments, lending, risk and customer onboarding systems. This work powers millions of secure, real-time interactions every day and shapes how customers and colleagues experience NAB.
Operating across Australia and New Zealand and supported by our Innovation Centres in India and Vietnam, we collaborate globally to deliver resilient, scalable technology that enables the bank to operate safely, responsibly and at scale.
As the way we work continues to evolve, AI is playing an increasingly important role in how we build, improve and deliver these experiences. New types of roles are emerging across engineering, data and AI, creating career pathways that didn’t exist just a few years ago. What was once specialised is becoming core to how we operate - and the opportunity to build capability in these areas has never been greater.
At NAB, you can be part of that shift. From building our AI Science capability to working in multidisciplinary teams across the business, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills and help shape how AI is applied in banking - safely, responsibly and at scale.
