What’s your story?
I’m currently studying Media and Communications with a major in Public Relations at Swinburne University. I started at NAB back in January 2016 as an Industry Based Learning student on placement for my degree. I was lucky enough to work as a Social Media Analyst in the Social Media Command Centre for 12 months in a full time capacity and I absolutely loved my time in the team. At the conclusion of my placement, I was ecstatic that my dream team to work in, Corporate Communications, offered me a position working in social media and digital!
How have you made a difference?
I’m grateful that in my role I get to work across a variety of different and exciting projects. I work across a number of areas, whether it’s working on a social media campaign, building a microsite or being involved in the management of an incident. Recently, our team identified a need to share all of the fantastic work NAB employees are doing to combat and resolve common customer issues. We brainstormed how we could present this in an engaging and useful way and came up with the development of a microsite. I worked with our digital agency to build the ‘How We’re Listening’ microsite and the team was thrilled with the finished product. I’m proud of the fact that this was backed by members of our executive leadership team and the work that went into producing the site.
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about my friends, my work, fashion and trying new restaurants, cafes and bars. When I’m not working or studying, you’ll find me at one of Melbourne’s newest eateries with friends or attending a ballet class.
