What’s your story?
I was born in New Zealand but I grew up in Australia. I am Samoan and Tuvaluan, two beautiful and treasured islands in the Pacific. I was raised by my amazing and hardworking parents who have definitely instilled strong family values in my life. Prior to working at NAB, I completed a Bachelor of Accountancy.
How have you made a difference?
On a daily basis my interactions with customers are an opportunity where I am able to support them and make a difference in their banking experience with us. I have also been fortunate enough to lead a team in the Proficiency Hub at NAB, which has allowed me to share my passions and motivations with my peers. I like to bring a high level of energy to the team by creating an engaging, productive and supportive work environment. A little laughter and a bit of fun every day never hurt anyone!
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about implementing change, development, inspiring and motivating my peers and family. I was raised in a strong family environment which has led to my passion of supporting others in their development and career growth. Outside of work, I am passionate about my culture. I love learning more about my Samoan and Tuvaluan traditions as well as inspiring other Polynesian people to dream big and strive for their goals.
