What’s your story?
I am a learning and development specialist working in People Services. After a few short contracting gigs over the years with NAB, I decided to apply for a permanent role within the People division. There are many reasons why I decided to continue my career at NAB, including the fact that NAB is a supportive organisation that offers invaluable flexibility to its employees, as well as the friends I have here.
How have you made a difference?
I was involved in the People Hub learning project from an early stage. This involved the migration of our old learning management system (LMS) to People Hub (our new LMS). I managed the migration and remediation of all of the eLearning for our bankers (a total of over 500 courses). This involved managing testing, vendor remediation, configuration and working closely with business stakeholders and the People Hub project. We went live on time, and provided our bankers with a better learning experience.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about giving back to the community. Each year I use my volunteer days to support charities and not-for-profit organisations that help the community. This year I completed the 135km ‘Around the Bay’ bike ride and raised money for the Smith Family. My original goal was to raise $200 for the charity but I ended up raising over $400! This meant a great deal to me as so many work friends supported me.
