What’s your story?
I was born in Phagwara which is in the northern India. I came to Australia as an international student back in 2007.
Asking customers about their journey and their experience gives me great joy. Even when I am feeling low, the struggles and experiences my customers share with me motivate me to never give up.
I have completed my post-grad in Information Technology and then I started working with NAB in 2012. Since starting at NAB I have worked as Consumer Sales Consultant, Home Loans Specialist, Small Business Central Sales Banker, and Small Business Banker. Currently, I am working as Business Banking Manager.
How have you made a difference?
Something I’m very proud of was when I was able to help a customer who had banked with NAB for over 10 years. The customer was going through a difficult divorce and was on the verge of losing her home. After taking the time to understand her needs, I was able to restructure the loans under her name so she could hold onto her home.
I’ll never forget sharing the news of the approval confirmation with this customer. She was in tears and even sent an email to my manager sharing how grateful she was for what I had done to help her.
What are you passionate about?
I really enjoy cooking at home. Working flexibly and using Volunteer Days has enabled me to use my Master Chef (self-proclaimed) skills to cook for those who are less fortunate. NAB has been very supportive of this passion of mine and I’m very grateful for that.
