HELPING COMMUNITIES PROSPER

Volunteering

As a workforce of over 30,000, our people make a big impact when it comes to volunteering. Every year our people provide invaluable assistance for communities and not-for-profits by giving their time for general volunteering, pro bono skilled volunteering and through community secondment partnerships with Jawun and Australian Business Volunteers.

Since 1998, we’ve given our employees a minimum of 16 hours each year to volunteer their time and talents to support communities. In addition, for every hour our employees volunteer, they receive $5 they can then donate to a charity of their choice. We also support our employees who are emergency service volunteers by giving them unlimited leave to serve their communities, and our people can volunteer to help customers, colleagues and their communities clean up and recover after natural disasters.

Colleague Giving

NAB employees can make one-off or recurring donations directly from their pay, pre-tax, to the charities they care. They can also share and donate to colleagues’ fundraisers.

NAB Neighbourhood

NAB employees can quickly and easily take part in volunteering and giving activities for communities via the bank’s NAB Neighbourhood platform, which is powered by Benevity. Not for profits or community organisations wishing to be part of the platform should contact NABNeighbourhood@nab.com.au.
