We have support available to customers who have been impacted by a natural disaster. You can call us to discuss a range of financial relief measures, including:

  • Loan deferral or reduced repayment arrangements for home, personal and some business loans.
  • Deferring upcoming credit card and business credit card payments.
  • Waiving or refunding fees and charges, including but not limited to merchant terminal fees and early access fees for term deposits.

Call our NAB Assist team on 1300 308 132 Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm (AEST/AEDT), Saturday, 9:00am to 1:00pm (AEST/AEDT). If you're a business customer, call us on 1300 769 650 Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (AEST/ADST).

Other ways we can help you

  • If you have a NAB insurance policy for your property, contents or vehicle call the Allianz Claims team on 1300 555 013 to lodge a claim. Alternatively, you can lodge a claim yourself online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via Allianz Claim form, opens in new window.
  • Check your insurance cover. For help protecting your home, investment property, contents, car, caravan or trailer see our insurance policies or call Allianz on 13 29 28.
  • If you’re a NAB EFTPOS and HICAPS merchant affected by natural disasters or hardship, we can provide financial relief by:
    • waiving three months of terminal rental fees for HICAPS and EFTPOS terminals
    • providing a free terminal replacement for terminals damaged in natural disasters
    • waiving three months of eCommerce monthly fees if you’re experiencing hardship.

  • Depending on your current financial circumstances, you may be eligible for a small loan from Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand. Good Shepherd is a not-for-profit lender supported by NAB to provide no-interest loans to individuals across Australia for essential goods or services.
