How to find a biller

There are three ways to find a biller.

Select from a list

Open the drop-down menu of all available billers and select one.

Search by biller code

Enter all or part (at least three numbers) of the biller's code and select Next. This finds every biller code that contains the text you enter. For example, if you enter 123, biller codes 1234, 789123, and 01234 would all display. Select the biller's name.

Search by biller name

Enter all or part (at least three letters) of the biller's name and select Next. This finds every biller name that contains the text you enter. For example, if you enter gas, biller codes Elgas, Gas Express P/L, and Beddoe Gas would all display. Select the biller's name.

How to view a BPAY ViewTM biller list

NAB Internet Banking only displays a summary of the bill with information on the:

  • due date
  • amount due
  • reference.

To view the actual details of a bill, a link is provided on the biller name located on the BPAY View bills screen. The biller's web site will open in a new window and display the bill details, usually as you see it in your paper bill.

  1. Log into NAB Internet Banking with your NAB Identification number (ID) and NAB Internet Banking password.
  2. Open the Bill payment menu and select ‘BPAY View Billers’.

From this list, you can:

  • view a biller's details
  • add a new biller
  • deactivate a biller (and go back to receiving paper bills in the post)
  • reactivate any billers that failed to accept BPAY View™ registration.

How to activate and deactivate a BPAY ViewTM biller

With BPAY View™ activated for a biller, you'll receive electronic bills via NAB Internet Banking (we email you whenever a new bill is ready). You can activate and deactivate billers by opening the Bill payment menu and selecting BPAY View Billers.

Re-activate a BPAY ViewTM biller

Occasionally, billers may fail to accept BPAY View™ registration. This is usually due to an error in the activation request. If this has occurred, the biller's status displays as Declined by biller, and you'll see a Reactivate link at the right of the table. Select this link to send a corrected activation request to the biller. You'll have to enter the customer number that the biller's given you.

De-activate a BPAY ViewTM biller

This removes the biller from your list of BPAY View™ billers and ends electronic bill delivery. You'll see a Deactivate link to the right of every active biller in your list. Select this link to send the biller a deactivation request. Within two business days the biller will be removed from the list.
