Follow these steps to turn on travel notifications so you can use your cards as usual while overseas.

iOS

    Step 1

    Log into the NAB app on your device.

    Tap More from the bottom menu.

  • 3

    Step 3

    Tap Travel from the menu list.

  • 4

    Step 4

    Tap Tell us where you’re going.

  • 5

    Step 5

    Tap Add a trip.

  • 6

    Step 6

    Specify the country you’re travelling to, then tap Next.

  • 7

    Step 7

    Tap Departing to specify your departure date.

  • 8

    Step 8

    Select a date from the calendar, then tap Apply.

  • 9

    Step 9

    Tap Returning to specify your return date.

  • 10

    Step 10

    Select a date from the calendar, then tap Apply.

  • 11

    Tap Next.

  • 12

    Specify your email address and/or mobile number, then tap Next.

  • 13

    Step 13

    Select the toggle switch to specify your overseas plan, then tap Submit.

  • Complete

    Your travel notice has now been recorded with NAB.

Android

  • 1

    Step 1

    Log into the NAB app on your device.

    Step 2

    Tap the menu icon in the top left-hand corner.

    Tap Travel from the menu list.

    Tap Add a trip.

  • 5

    Step 5

    Specify the country you’re travelling to, then tap Next.

    Tap Departing to specify your departure date.

  • 7

    Select a date from the calendar, then tap Apply.

    Step 8

    Tap Returning to specify your return date.

  • 9

    Step 9

    Select a date from the calendar, then tap Apply.

    Tap Next.

    Specify your email address and/or mobile number, then tap Next.

    Select the toggle switch to specify your overseas plan, then tap Submit.

  • Complete

    Your travel notice has now been recorded with NAB.

Desktop

  • 1

    Step 1

    Enter your 8 to 10-digit NAB ID and your password. Select Login.

    Step 2

    Select Profile & Settings in the top menu.

  • 3

    Step 3

    Select ‘Travel notifications’ from the drop-down menu.

    Step 4

    Under Where are you going? start typing the first country you’re travelling to. 

  • 5

    Step 5

    Select the right option when it appears to add it to the list. You can add multiple countries.

    Step 6

    Enter your departure and return dates, or choose the calendar icon to select dates.

  • 7

    Step 7

    Scroll down, then add an email address or mobile number so we can contact you while you’re overseas.

  • 8

    Step 8

    If you can, tell us how you’ll use your cards with the NO or YES toggles. Select Save.

  • Complete

    Your travel notification has been submitted. You can always update the details by selecting Edit or Delete.
