Self-service options

There are several ways you can deposit cash and cheques yourself at NAB branches, without assistance from our staff.

Express Business Deposits

The Express Business Deposit (EBD) service allows customers to deposit cash in a tamper proof plastic bag at any EBD collection point. EBD is only available to business customers with eligible accounts.

You can deposit:

  • AUD cash (notes only) with a minimum deposit of $500
  • AUD cash (notes and coins) with a minimum deposit of $500, with coins not to exceed $300, of which no more than $100 can be silver coin (due to weight limitations)
  • AUD cash (coins only) with a maximum deposit of $300, of which no more than $100 can be silver coin (due to weight limitations) – there is no minimum deposit for coin-only EBD bags.

Deposits are credited on the same business day, subject to terms and conditions.

You can deposit your EBD bags at an EBD collection point. An EBD collection point is any NAB branch with an Express Business Deposit machine or chute. You can also deposit coins via a Coin Deposit Machine. Using a Coin Deposit Machine to deposit funds into a NAB business account is considered an EBD and will incur the applicable EBD fee.
