Things you should know about redraw

  • You need to be at least one scheduled repayment ahead to access your redraw.
  • Redraw amount depends on how far ahead you are on your scheduled repayments.
  • Minimum redraw amount is $500 per transaction.
  • Available on variable rate home loans (excluding building or construction loans and Defence Home Owners Loan).
  • Not available on a fixed rate loan until the end of the fixed rate period (i.e. when the rate becomes variable).

Steps to transfer available redraw

Online banking is the easy, secure way to check and transfer available home loan redraw. Choose between using the NAB app or NAB Internet Banking on your web browser.

NAB app

Instructions for mobile devices

  1. Log into the NAB app on your device.

  2. Tap on the home loan you want to redraw from.

  3. Tap on redraw which is located under your available redraw amount.

  4. Select the account you’d like to transfer the funds into.

  5. Enter the redraw amount and optional reference.

  6. Review your details and tap Pay now.

NAB Internet Banking

Instructions for web browsers

  1. Log into NAB Internet Banking with your 8 to 10-digit NAB ID and password.

  2. Tap on Transfer and Pay and then Loan redraw.

  3. Select the loan account you want to transfer from (the available redraw will show next to the account number).

  4. Select the To account and fill out the Redraw details.

  5. Confirm your details and select Submit.
