How the Technology Intern Program works
Looking at a career in IT but not sure where to begin or which direction to head? Our IT internship is the perfect place to start to give you the industry experience and exposure you need. Whether you’re still studying or a past graduate who’s looking for a career change, the internship is a 6-12 month full time or part time paid program. The program commences in January and July, in line with university semesters.
You’ll discover what it’s like to learn and work in information technology at one of Australia’s largest and most successful financial institutions. During your internship you’ll be mentored and supported in your learning and development, all while doing real work in one of our innovative technology teams.
You’ll become certified in AWS/Azure, have opportunities to join our inhouse hackathons and network with senior leaders across the business. If you’re a current student, you can also earn credit towards your degree.
The technology intern program is predominantly offered in Melbourne, with some places available in Sydney. In line with NABs flexible working model, colocation is available for those who live in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Relocation support is available for those that are required to move interstate for the duration of their internship.
