Steps to authorise a payment with transaction signing
Make sure you’re logged into NAB Connect to get started.
Authorising with a mobile token
If you’re using a mobile token, you’ll see a QR code on your 'Payment authorisation' screen.
- Launch the NAB Connect mobile app, select More and select Signing code.
- Enter your four-digit PIN.
- Scan the QR code from NAB Connect or enter the values displayed on screen manually.
- A signing code will display on your mobile token. Type the code in the Enter signing code field at the bottom of the Authorise payments screen.
- Select Submit. The payment has now been authorised.
Authorising with a physical token
If you’re a physical token user, the Authorise payment screen will display steps to follow.
- Follow the prompts on screen to generate a code which constitutes your digital signature.
- Type the code in the Enter signing code field.
- Select Submit. The payment has now been authorised.
Please note
- A payment requiring transaction signing is usually one over $500,000. Depending on how your NAB Connect is configured, this final authoriser could be the same or a different person to the first authoriser.
- Payments that require transaction signing cannot be bulk authorised.
- You cannot authorise payments that require transaction signing codes using the authorise capability in the NAB Connect mobile app.
