Security Identification

This application is secure and handles your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. To help us process your application, you’ll be asked if you're an existing NAB customer, or whether you're new to NAB.

If you're Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and you don't have any of the required forms of identification, you’re still eligible to apply. You'll need to call our Indigenous Customer Service line on 1800 966 100 after completing your application so we can verify your identity.

New NAB customers

If you’re a new NAB applicant, or don't have any active NAB accounts, you’ll need to provide at least one of the following forms of ID:

  • Australian passport

  • Foreign passport

  • Australian driver’s licence

  • Medicare card

Existing NAB Customers

Save time completing the application and setting up your account. Provide your NAB ID and follow the application prompts to securely log into internet banking. Here's what you need to know:

  • Your NAB ID is an 8 to 10 digit number you use to log into NAB Internet Banking.

  • You can find your NAB ID on the back of your NAB debit or credit card above the black strip.

Other products

  • If you don’t have an existing NAB transaction account to link to your NAB iSaver, we’ll automatically open a fee free, NAB Classic Banking account for you, when you open your NAB iSaver account. Take the opportunity to familiarise yourself with this product and its features, via the link provided, before you start your application.
