Have these items ready
If you're already a customer, you'll need your NAB ID. Your NAB ID is an 8-10 digit number that you use to login to internet banking. You can find it on the back of your NAB card in the top left corner, above the magnetic strip, or in your NAB app through My Details.
New to NAB?
If you're not yet a NAB customer, you’re still eligible to apply. You'll need to have at least one of the following forms of identification:
- a valid Australian driver’s licence that shows which state issued your licence
- an Australian passport that has not been expired for more than two years
- a valid Medicare card with more than two months left to expiry.
If you're Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and you don't have two of the above forms of Identification, you’re still eligible to apply. You'll need to call our Indigenous Customer Service line on 1800 966 100 after completing your application so we can verify your identity.
