Your role: Manager, Customer Journey Strategy

What’s your story?
I’ve had a little bit of an unorthodox career; I started as a qualified commercial pilot after completing an Aviation Engineering degree. Soon after, I realised that it wasn’t the career path for me, and was fortunate enough to change direction into strategy for an airline. The rest is history; I joined NAB a little bit over two years ago, excited to be part of a strategy team designing a large scale transformation, with the customer at the heart of it.
How have you made a difference?
I strongly believe in two things: Firstly, that customers are why we are here and secondly, that people form the foundation of what makes NAB so great. My role in the Customer Journeys team has allowed me to help improve both of these things. We are creating a new way of working for our people that focuses on delivering change to our customer quickly. For me, the most exciting part is receiving positive customer feedback.
What are you passionate about?
I love to travel to new places, especially the places that are hard to get to and require a hike of some sort. I’m not going to lie, I do like most sports including supporting the Saints (AFL), the NBA and going for the (occasional) run.
