What’s your story?
As a young girl, I thought I’d become an architect in the future. However, after completing my first year of studies I realised this was not the case. In 2015, I took a step into the world of banking and got a job in servicing at NAB. It wasn’t until I was part of the Solutions Performance team, that I realised my passions were to help, assist and support customers and the people around me. My parents are very supportive and always saw a challenge as an opportunity to grow and learn something new, which eventually rubbed off on me. I started to show my passion and drive to lead a team and support individuals by helping those in my team see the value they bring to the business. My team leader and colleagues have also been very supportive over the last two years in helping me work towards my goals, which I am very grateful for. I am extremely proud of myself for being where I am today and working for a company that supports and values their employees.
How have you made a difference?
One of the most satisfying parts of my role is helping people and being part of a bankers’ and customers’ journeys as well as seeing them achieve their goals. It’s been an incredible experience being able to work alongside such knowledgeable and driven individuals who encourage you to bring your unique self to work on a daily basis. I have and will continue to live our values and be a role model for those around me. I love this so much!
What are you passionate about?
Painting has been my main passion since I was a little girl. My whole family is very creative and I definitely got this skill from my grandpa who used to be an artist himself. I see painting as a form of meditation. It has allowed me to express my emotions and has challenged the way I think and view situations, which has ultimately shaped me into the person I am today. I also love to go on little adventures and travel. Given that I was born in Germany and my grandparents still live there, traveling has been an important part of my life.
