Liz has had her own business in the past, but she loves her work at NAB now.
Name: Arjun Sudhir
Your role: Analyst, Digital Adoption
Region: Docklands, Victoria
What’s your story?
Outside of my day job working as a Communications Analyst at NAB, I am a natural skincare blogger and influencer. My interest in skincare was a result of suffering from really bad acne in my teens and 20s. I started my blog JustAskArjun.com two years ago when I saw a big difference in my skin after switching to natural products but couldn’t find any reliable reviews about these products online. I didn’t think anyone would read my blog when I first started it, but I was surprised by the amount of interest the content generated. Blogging has changed a lot in the last couple of years, and while I still have my blog, I mainly connect with my followers through Instagram (I’m just about to hit 10K followers!). I currently work with a number of local and international brands, and I have been an Australian judge for Beauty Shortlist Awards, UK’s largest beauty awards, since 2016. I also launched my own line of candles a month ago! I never thought any of this would have been possible when I launched my blog two years ago.
How have you made a difference?
There are so many questionable ingredients in mainstream personal care products, but most people are not aware of it. I try to build awareness around ingredients and how making the switch to cleaner products can increase your overall health and wellness. I find it very humbling when I get feedback from readers and followers that my recommendations have transformed their skin and how that has improved their self-confidence.
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about sharing ideas and connecting with creative minds from around the globe. I don’t think of my blog as a way to make money – for me, it’s a creative outlet that lets me interact with likeminded people and hopefully touch people’s lives in a small way and make a difference.
