When she's not working, she's traveling with her family.
Name: David Gulberti
Your role: Managing Partner, South Western Partnership
Region: Bunbury, Western Australia
What’s your story?
I was born in Busselton, Western Australia, where I grew up on my family’s small dairy farm. In 1985, I decided I wanted to travel but I needed a job to be able to afford it. I joined NAB intending to work at the bank for six months and 34 years later here I am! I’m very proud to still work for a company that has given me so many opportunities, both personally and professionally.
How have you made a difference?
Banking is about people and as I look back on my journey with NAB so far, I am very proud that I have played a small part in helping our customers’ and staffs’ dreams come true through the various roles I have had as a people leader and relationship manager.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about my family and ensuring I can provide them the opportunities in life that I have had; we love to travel and both my daughters are now at university.
Outside of family and work I am passionate about my community. Through my Rotary Club, I am involved in the International Youth Exchange Program. The program gives mostly 17 and 18-year-olds the opportunity to live abroad, and similarly for overseas students to live in Australia for 12 months, with the aim of building international goodwill and their own personal self-development.
