Name: Elisa Pattison

Region: Docklands, Victoria
What’s your story?
Life happens, and it happens to all of us. As a NAB Assist family member with 8 years of experience, I have a passion for doing what’s right and working with people through the tougher times in life. My experience and specialised knowledge in financial hardship has translated to major operational transformations, understanding customer vulnerability and advocating for the health and wellbeing for our employees, ensuring they are supported to be the best they can be.
How have you made a difference?
My role is defined by my DNA and over the last 5 years I have been privileged and honoured to play a fundamental role in leading part of the industry’s largest transformation on hardship practises. This also means I am part of the first Australian company who was recognised in Fortune Magazine’s, “Companies that change the world” list.
I work closely with our Customer Care team and manage NAB's Family Violence Assistance Grant. We work closely with CareRing and have a partnership with Uniting Kildonan to help customers who are experiencing family violence and want to leave an abusive relationship.
What are you passionate about?
Making a difference and changing the landscape of traditional banking when it comes to life and money in more vulnerable times. Always striving to improve the customer experience through the way we interact and innovative solutions we create. On par with customer experience is the wellbeing of our staff. The success of our program comes from the people who work in it and deliver it to our customers at the frontline. I am passionate about a thriving workplace as its paramount to the outcomes and livelihood of our people which is felt by our customers.
